Senior Technical Analyst

Currently looking for a hands‑on Senior Technical Analyst to join a dynamic and fast‑growing international retail environment. This role sits at the heart of technology delivery, supporting and enhancing a large‑scale European retail and omnichannel landscape across multiple markets.

You’ll play a key role in implementing, configuring, and supporting business‑critical applications across a network of multiple stores in different countries. Working closely with global teams, local stakeholders, and external vendors, you’ll help ensure seamless system performance while contributing to major transformation projects within a multi‑year technology investment programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support, enhance, and deliver retail applications across Europe
• Configure, maintain, and optimise core retail systems including POS, inventory, and payment platforms
• Support system deployments, upgrades, and new store openings, ensuring smooth implementation and minimal disruption
• Take ownership of incident management, troubleshooting issues and ensuring timely resolution with clear stakeholder communication
• Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to continuous service enhancements
• Work closely with service providers to meet SLAs, maintain service quality, and support operational documentation

Key Requirements

• 2–5 years’ experience in a retail technology environment, ideally within a global organisation
• Strong understanding of retail business processes and systems
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels
• Hands‑on experience with Retail POS systems (e.g. Oracle XStore, APTOS, IBM OMS/Sterling)
• Solid knowledge of payment systems (e.g. Adyen, SVS, ValueLink)
• Experience with SQL, XML, and database management, with a desire to further develop
• Practical, solutions‑focused mindset with a proactive approach
• Willingness to travel across Europe and occasionally internationally
