Clinical Deputy Manager – Druid Stoke Care Home
Location: Druid Stoke Care Home, 31 Druid Stoke Avenue, Bristol, BS9 1DE.
Working hours: Monday to Friday; occasional night visits or weekend work may be required.
Responsibilities
- You’ll oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care/activities within the home.
- With your team you’ll create and update individual care plans for our residents, maintaining clear, accurate and up‑to‑date medication records.
- You’ll ensure adequate staffing by efficiently managing rotas, maintaining correct staffing levels at all times.
- Drawing on your clinical experience, you’ll provide day‑to‑day support and guidance to the team – promoting residents’ independence, choice and dignity.
- You’ll build lasting relationships with residents and their families, fostering a sense of community.
- You’ll develop and maintain strong relationships with local partners, raising the care home’s profile in the local area and beyond.
Key Skills / Qualifications
- A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a genuine commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct and expanding professional development.
- Commitment to champion independence, choice and dignity by delivering high‑quality care.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control and care planning.
- Excellent communication skills – able to build strong and honest relationships with residents and families.
- Natural leader, ready to share clinical experience – leading and mentoring a team, delegating effectively, promoting excellent customer service and relationships.
- Effective time‑management, able to prioritise workload.
- Respectful and compassionate team player, dedicated to giving personal best.
