Founding Product Engineer – Applied AI

Overview

Healthtech-1 is building technology to streamline NHS administrative processes. The Senior Product Engineer will own and shape day‑to‑day experiences used by patients and clinicians, focusing on performance, clarity, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design modern engineering workflows that accelerate delivery, increase autonomy, and improve developer experience.
• Build shared tools and platforms that make information accessible, discoverable, and actionable for every team.
• Connect knowledge across departments so insights from customer conversations, support interactions, product discussions, and operational meetings are surfaced whenever needed.
• Create a unified, queryable data ecosystem that breaks down silos and enables meaningful questions across the business.
• Leverage AI and automation to uncover opportunities, identify trends, and surface insights before they are asked.
• Develop systems that amplify the impact of individuals and teams by sharing best practices, highlighting successful approaches, and accelerating adoption of new ideas.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a senior engineer with experience designing scalable services, working with production systems, and integrating AI models into real‑world workflows. Experience in health, finance, or infrastructure domains is a strong advantage.

Tech Stack

• Full‑stack (backend‑leaning): React, TypeScript
• APIs: designing and consuming scalable, well‑structured services
• Data: producing production systems with performance considerations
• AI: integrating modern AI models into healthcare workflows
