Working Supervisor – Severn Trent Frameworks

Hours of Work: 40 hours, Mon–Fri

Duties

• Responsible for day‑to‑day operational duties of the team.
• Responsible for safe deployment of team – all elements of health, safety and quality to be maintained.
• Ensure the work is completed to a high standard.
• Communicate with Clients and HIS Framework and Project Manager on progress or any issues arising.
• Assist in promoting a proactive safety culture on all projects to drive for zero harm culture.
• Assist in delivering project on time.
• Identify efficiencies and innovation where possible.
• Assist in the information needed for key project tools such as inspection and test plans, project programmes and risk registers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience in supervising staff.
• Mechanical or electrical formal qualifications through the apprenticeship route.
• Supervisory skills and experience.
• FLT licence preferable.
• CDM Awareness Training.
• Welding/rigging & slinging/ confined space trained preferable.
• Set team to work safely including all safety paperwork, RAMS, POWRA etc.
• Ability to oversee project work to completion.
• Strong communication skills at all levels.
• Positive attitude to safety.
• Strong team player.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Ability to work well under pressure and to timescale.
