About The Role
As a Contracts Coordinator at The Drain Group, you’ll be at the heart of our reactive and planned maintenance operations. You’ll support the Account Manager in delivering key elements of multiple contracts, ensuring work is scheduled efficiently, customers receive timely updates, and all service expectations are met. You will be working closely to support managers and the wider management team of the business.
You’ll liaise daily with clients, field engineers, suppliers, and internal departments—making sure every job runs smoothly from initial instruction through to completion.
To succeed in this role you will ideally have experience within Customer Services, excellent communication skills and a flair for great service. In addition, you will have excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and IT systems and be well organised with the ability to process data quickly and accurately and support team members.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations, including clerical tasks and data entry.
- Maintain organised filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.
- Handle incoming calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
- Taking ownership of customer queries to offer first contact resolution where possible.
- Coordinate schedules and appointments for engineers.
- Prepare reports for clients and have experience in using Portals.
- Support the team with administrative duties as needed to ensure efficient workflow.
- Monitor KPI performance and follow up as required.
- Handle Customer Support Centre administrative duties, including monitoring team inboxes.
Skills And Experience Required
- Proven experience with a minimum of 2 years within an office environment and scheduling experience
- Experience in managing engineers
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
