Job Overview

As a Home Care Assistant you will support clients with daily routines, personal care and companionship. No prior healthcare experience is required; the company provides comprehensive, fully funded training.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
  • Help with meal preparation, feeding and medication reminders.
  • Provide companionship; share a cup of tea and a chat, listen and offer emotional support.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the client’s home environment.
  • Record care activities and report any concerns to the care team.
  • Adapt schedules to meet individual client needs and preferences.

Qualifications

  • No prior experience or formal qualifications required; training will be provided.
  • Good people skills, empathy, caring and compassionate nature.
  • Positive and professional team‑working ethos.
  • A minimum of 12 months and no ongoing right to work in the UK.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Availability to work alternating weekends.
