We have an excellent opportunity for a Support Worker to join our Supported living service located in CV5 7BB.

  • Role: Support Worker Driver
  • Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour
  • Shift: Days
  • Hours: Full-time – 42 hours per week

Duties Include

  • To support people with disabilities, including individuals with profound and complex needs, using person‑centred approaches to enable people to achieve positive outcomes as defined in their support plan.
  • Basic daily duties include medication administration, cooking, cleaning, personal care and paperwork.
  • Provide emotional and practical support.
  • Support the people in our care to access community facilities and be included in community groups.
  • Build robust relationships with the people in our care to promote independence and improve quality of life.
  • Empower the people in our care to learn new skills or pursue hobbies and interests.

Person Specifications

  • Experience within the care industry, ICSe or equivalent essential.
  • UK driving licence essential.
  • Previous experience supporting people with mental health conditions, complex care needs and challenging behaviours.
  • Knowledge/experience with autism and schizoaffective disorder.
  • Ability to multi‑task.
  • Good time management, organisation, attention to detail and flexibility.
  • IT literate.
  • A positive “can do” attitude.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Compassionate, caring, positive personality.
  • Passion for making a real difference in people’s lives.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour and conflict.
  • Works well as part of a team as well as individually.
