Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Sign Manufacturer & CNC Operator based in Cheddar. The role involves fabricating and assembling custom signs, operating CNC machines with precision, interpreting blueprints or designs, and maintaining equipment. The role also includes routine inspections and adhering to safety standards while working with various materials and tools throughout the manufacturing process.
Qualifications
- Experience in CNC machine operation, fabrication techniques, and general manufacturing processes
- Proficiency with reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements
- Knowledge of materials commonly used in sign manufacturing, including metals, plastics, and wood
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented and fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Adherence to workplace safety protocols and equipment maintenance practices
- Previous experience in signage manufacturing is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC operation or machining is preferred
