Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of issue‑based programmes using recreational activities and resources to support engagement.
- Provide young people with trusted adult role models to support positive choices and decision making.
- Work evenings, Monday–Friday, on a peripatetic basis across the Borough where needed.
- Participate in a 38‑week delivery calendar, with flexibility up to 12 hours or 3 evenings per week.
- Support the Youth Service’s aims to promote personal and social development and help young people transition to adulthood.
Application Requirements
- Speak English to an appropriate standard.
- Pass an Enhanced DBS Check.
- Be prepared to start work with all necessary legal documentation, including a valid visa if applicable.
- Overseas residency: Applicants with recent overseas residence must provide a criminal record check.
Other Information
We do not possess a Home Office licence and cannot provide sponsorship for skilled or temporary migrant workers.
Pensions Regulations may reduce pension payments if returning to local government service. Seek advice from the relevant Pensions Authority.
