Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the multidisciplinary team
- Manage telephone, email and face‑to‑face enquiries, ensuring a professional and helpful service
- Arrange patient appointments, clinics, and manage diaries using electronic systems
- Maintain accurate records, input data, and update systems in line with procedures
- Support meetings and events, including preparation of agendas, papers and minutes
- Process referrals through the single point of access and ensure timely communication with teams
- Undertake general office duties including mail handling, ordering supplies and stock control
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative or office environment
- Competence in using a range of IT systems and packages such as Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
- Excellent communication skills with a good command of written and spoken English
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, including keyboard and typing skills
- Willingness to undertake training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
