More About the Role

As an Additional Support Worker, no two days are the same and you will enjoy a role with a lot of variety. The people we support are at the heart of everything we do, and our Additional Support Workers play a key role in encouraging the people we support to live as independently as possible. We work in a variety of settings including Supported Living, Resource Centres and Outreach, and create person‑centred support plans for each individual and their preferred activities, such as:

  • Access community activities such as local walks
  • Trips to the park
  • Swimming and going to the cinema
  • Supporting people in their voluntary work
