Home Care Worker (Domiciliary Care) – DRIVER WITH OWN VEHICLE REQUIRED

Shifts Available

Zero-Hour Contract – Flexible shifts available any time between Monday and Sunday, 7am – 10pm.

Eligibility

Applicant must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle. Must be able to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting, maintaining their dignity and comfort.
  • Support clients with daily activities: meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping and shopping.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation.
  • Conduct routine wellbeing checks to ensure client safety and comfort.
  • Adhere to all company policies regarding client privacy, health and safety and care standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement of service delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous experience in a care role is preferred, but a genuine passion for helping others is essential.
  • Positive, friendly and supportive demeanour.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to interact effectively with clients and families.
  • Collaborative, willing to work in a fast‑paced environment and support colleagues.
  • Flexible – ready to work various shifts, including weekends.
  • Diligent – perform care tasks and wellbeing checks with professionalism.
  • Willingness to undergo necessary background checks.
  • Own vehicle and willingness to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance.
