The Fife Arms Hotel located in the heart of Braemar and the Cairngorms National Park is delighted to be recruiting a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our award-winning culinary team.

About The Role

As a Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in supporting the kitchen brigade—preparing for service, working closely with our Sous Chefs and Head Chef, and contributing to the smooth running of your section. You’ll work under the mentorship of Executive Chef Chris Niven, gaining experience across different sections and further developing your culinary abilities in a world-class kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of your allocated section under the guidance of a Sous Chef
  • Ensuring all dishes meet the exceptional standards expected at The Fife Arms
  • Maintaining high levels of consistency, quality, and organisation
  • Providing feedback to the Head Chef and Executive Chef when relevant
  • Assisting other sections as needed to support the wider brigade
  • Upholding excellent hygiene, stock control, and food safety standards
