art-K, a leading private art education service, is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Self‑Employed Party Assistants for its artsy birthday parties during weekends. With a vibrant network of 8000 weekly students, art‑K is expanding its offerings to provide unique and creative birthday experiences. In the last few months, art‑K has delivered over 100 parties and expects this to continue growing in 2025.
Responsibilities
- Studio setup and ambience: Assist the party leader in creating an ambient studio environment, setting up the music, and preparing the projects in alignment with the birthday person’s requests.
- Art workshop: Help the party leader run the art workshops for party‑goers, fostering a positive and encouraging environment that sparks creativity and experimentation among attendees.
- Clean‑up: Maintain high cleanliness standards by tidying up the studio after each class, leaving a welcoming space for the next session.
Teaching and Encouragement
Support children to complete their art projects, offering guidance and encouraging them to explore their creativity whilst having fun. Provide support to the party leader with a shake break or mini dance party midway through the workshop.
Requirements
- Working towards Art A level, Foundation, or Art degree.
- Knowledge of various art mediums, including watercolour, acrylics, and air‑dried clay.
- Experience working with children from Year 1 (aged 5‑6) and upwards (desired).
- Positive, proactive, and customer‑service‑oriented attitude.
Qualifications
- Art A level and Foundation (desired).
- DBS check (cost covered by the self‑employed person, facilitated by art‑K).
