RE Teacher

Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated RE Teacher for a Secondary school in Croydon, London. The school has a supportive RE department. The candidate should have excellent subject knowledge and be passionate about delivering exciting and engaging lessons. Most of the timetable for this role will cover Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The position is open to both NQTs and experienced teachers.

• Minimum rate of pay: £175 per day
• Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, plus parents evenings

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training issued in the last year

Eligibility

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to process a new application
• Two professional child‑related references covering the last 2 years
