Apprentice Technician LCV – Year 1

What You Will Do

During our 3-year Light Vehicle Apprenticeship Programme, you will learn all aspects of commercial LCV vehicle technology, including electronics, diagnostics, and computer management systems.

After the apprenticeship you may be offered full-time employment with Renault Truck Commercials.

Apprentice LCV Technician

Residential training in Leicestershire at our Renault Trucks Academy.

Working Hours and Schedule

Mon-Fri 40 hours, 8 am to 5 pm with block release study weeks.

Apprenticeship Level

Autocare Level 2 moving to Level 3.

Remuneration

• Year 1: £7.93 per hour (16‑17 years)
• Year 1: £10.50 per hour (18‑20 years)
• Year 1: £12.21 per hour (21+ years)
• Rates increase in subsequent years and/or by age category before the new year commences
