About The Role

This is a full‑time night position with a £1000 welcome bonus.

  • Plan and implement care that provides residents with a sense of security, dignity and independence.
  • Informally work with residents and their families to develop personalised care plans.
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants, maintaining the highest standards of care and influencing the rest of the team.
  • Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager with physical and mental stimulation activities, social and recreational activities and medication administration.
  • Maintain accurate records of care activities and build strong relationships with the rest of the team.
  • Attend safeguarding training, identify signs of abuse, harm or neglect and report concerns when appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care, with a willingness to progress to Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • Background in person‑centred care planning and caring for people with dementia.
  • Strong positive energy, natural ability to get along with people and excellent communication skills.
  • Good record‑keeping ability and effective time‑management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with kindness, compassion, curiosity, creativity, courage and reliability.
