Sales Assistant Volunteer – Chorley Shop
Do you love chatting to people and brightening their day? Join our warm and welcoming team in our Chorley charity shop and help us create a brilliant shopping experience for everyone who walks through the door.
What you’ll be doing
- Greeting customers with a friendly smile and making them feel welcome.
- Helping people find what they’re looking for and answering questions.
- Keeping the shop tidy, organised and inviting.
- Serving customers on the till and handling cash/card payments.
- Encouraging Gift Aid when donations are dropped off.
- Supporting your team and creating a fun, friendly atmosphere.

- Wednesday, Friday & Sunday – afternoon hours available (Flexible shifts).
Please note
The minimum age for volunteering in our shops is 16yrs. You must be living in the UK to volunteer in one of our shops. We ask all applicants to disclose, in confidence, any unspent criminal convictions in advance of a DBS check. All volunteers are required to wear a uniform, which will be provided free of charge. This is an unpaid volunteer position in a charity shop.
