Job Overview

Private Shopping Waiter at Harrods. Assist the Management team in the Private Shopping areas, maintaining high service standards and exceeding customer expectations. Serve as the gate‑keeper of the lounge area, preparing food and beverage components from coffee to champagne, and working with Harrods’ discerning clients.

Responsibilities

• Offer a seamless and unrivalled client journey, creating a personal and anticipatory experience from the moment clients enter.
• Prepare and serve premium beverages—including artisan coffee, champagne, and bespoke cocktails—alongside light refreshments.
• Maintain the immaculate luxury standard of the lounges, ensuring comfort and elegance at all times.
• Anticipate client needs through intuitive service and in‑depth product knowledge.
• Organise and execute mise‑en‑place duties before and after service to keep operations flawless.
• Work on site five days a week (out of the seven).

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage, ideally in hotels, events, or fine dining.
• Knowledge of mixology, barista skills, or silver service, with the ability to flex between bartender and waiter duties.
• Strong customer‑service instincts and a passion for creating unforgettable experiences.
• Calm efficiency under pressure and a professional approach to every interaction.
