Salary/Benefits

  • Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
  • Working shift rota: 6:30am – 3:00pm / 3:00pm – 11:00pm

Essential criteria

  • Hold a HACCP & Food Safety Level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a Technical or Quality role within food manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of BRC standards and industry regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and risk assessment processes
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety and quality

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience with 8-Step Problem Solving methodology
  • Previous involvement in third-party audits and compliance
  • Additional knowledge in food technology or relevant disciplines

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Relevant qualification in Food Safety or Food Technology
  • Several years’ experience in technical or quality assurance roles within food manufacturing environments

Other Requirements

  • Ability to travel occasionally for supplier or site audits
  • Strong team player with leadership qualities
  • Commitment to fostering a positive safety and quality culture
