The Opportunity
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join a growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 6 months to 2 years of sales, business development, recruitment, or customer-facing experience who wants to develop a successful career in B2B sales.
You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, engaging with senior decision-makers, and creating qualified sales opportunities for the wider commercial team. This role offers structured training, clear progression opportunities, and the chance to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective clients through outbound calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and other business development activities.
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities for the sales team.
- Research target organisations and key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
- Manage outbound prospecting activity to achieve agreed KPIs and targets.
- Qualify inbound enquiries and assess potential opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and activity within the CRM system.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to support lead generation campaigns.
- Develop strong relationships with prospective clients and understand their business challenges.
- Support the sales process by arranging meetings, demonstrations, and follow-up activities.
Essential
- 6 months to 2 years’ experience in sales, business development, recruitment, customer service, or another client-facing role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident speaking with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and target-driven.
- Organised with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working towards KPIs and sales objectives.
