GIS Sales Manager

Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS)

Remote Work + Travel to clients

TGRC is working with a global manufacturer of high-voltage transformers with a strong UK presence, delivering advanced 400 kV units for major utility projects. Their technology supports renewable energy transmission, strengthens grid stability, and underpins the UK’s energy transition.

The Role:

  • Drive sales growth across the GIS product portfolio throughout the UK & Ireland.
  • Develop relationships with utilities, EPC contractors, BESS developers, data centre developers, and major end users.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities within target sectors.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract award.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders.
  • Support tender submissions, commercial negotiations, and bid strategy.
  • Work closely with technical and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor market developments and identify upcoming opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience selling GIS, substation equipment, or related high-voltage electrical infrastructure solutions.
  • Existing industry network across utilities (TSOs and DNOs), EPCs, BESS developers, data centres, and industrial customers.
  • Strong business development and relationship management skills.
  • Track record of winning new business and growing customer accounts.
  • Hands-on sales professional with the ability to independently develop opportunities.
