Job Description We are looking for a commercially minded finance leader who will lead and develop a high-performing team, work in close partnership with UK and Global management, and deliver sustainable value for both ISS and the customer. The role sits on the Global Finance Senior Leadership Team for the account, offering strong visibility and exposure across the wider ISS Group, alongside a clear focus on year-on-year performance improvement and incremental commercial opportunities. Main Purpose of the Role The role holder will be accountable for building and leading an effective finance team to ensure robust financial reporting, continuous process improvement, and delivery of financial targets across the account. In addition, the role will ensure full compliance with all local and global commercial and contractual requirements, adopting a global mindset in servicing the customer while identifying smarter ways of working with data, systems, and processes across the account. Key Responsibilities Build a strong sense of belonging and team morale to enable high performance across the finance function Operate effectively within a complex matrix organisation, aligning with both Local and Global management teams Ensure complete, accurate, and timely financial reporting to site leadership, UK and Global leadership, and the customer Act as a trusted financial and commercial partner to senior leaders, providing insight, challenge, and decision support to improve profitability Lead forecasting and budgeting activities, including ownership of the annual client budget as a key KPI driver Ensure compliance with global commercial and contractual governance requirements, including client reporting, reconciliations, and change management Identify and implement improvements in processes, systems, and data to drive efficiency and performance Proactively identify, assess, and manage financial and commercial risks while supporting contract negotiations to protect ISS interests Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience Experience within the FM industry or a service-based, supplier-led environment Financial leadership experience in large-scale, complex organisations Proven experience managing large, complex B2B key accounts, including global contracts Strong track record of driving profitable growth and acting as a strategic finance business partner Strong problem-solving capability with a results-driven mindset and confidence to challenge constructively Experience supporting customer relationships and contractual negotiations, including commercial and legal considerations Resilient and self-directed, with the ability to perform under pressure and meet demanding deadlines The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
