Class 2 Drive
Here at HireGiant, we’re looking for experiencedClass 2 Driversfor a position with our well-established client based inAston, Birmingham.
This particular company is well known on a nationwide basis supplying alcoholic beverages across the UK. We are needing Class 2 Driver to deliver alcoholic and soft beverages to a number of reputable customers across the West Midlands, you will be delivering a mix of pallets, cages and kegs. The Class 2 Driverswill be placed on an ongoing basis, with the opportunity of Temp to Perm.
The Role:
The Driverwill be required to work Monday to Friday ongoing. The work starts immediately and involves delivering to restaurants, pubs & clubs across the Midlands. This job involvesa lot of manual labour which will require you to be happy with lifting.
Requirements for this role:
The Class 2 Driver will require:
Deliveringkegs of beer and cages of drinksto pubs, bars, and commercial premises
Manual handling of loads usingbarrows and cages
Completing815 drops per day, depending on route
Working alongside drivers mates where applicable
Completingdelivery paperwork and PODs
Providing professional customer service at delivery points
Hours & Pay:
The start timewill be 06:00AM Monday to Friday (some Saturdays too), theClass 2 Driverwill work upwards of 45-50 hours over a 5/6 day period – Monday to Friday.
The Class 2 Driver hourly rate for this role is:
£18.19 Per Hour – Monday to Friday/Saturday PAYE
Over time rates may be available in Peak.
