COMMERCIAL INSURANCE BROKER & SALES EXECUTIVE

Role: Commercial Insurance Broker & Sales Executive

Location: Cheltenham (Hybrid working)

Responsibilities

• Sales Executive: Responsible for prospecting and securing new clients, speaking with clients and providing solutions over the phone/video call/in person, attending key conferences to generate new opportunities, providing accurate sales forecasts to the Client Director using pipeline reporting and CRM systems, identifying opportunities for leads to other B2B areas, providing introductions and supporting cross-sell process.
• Account Handler: Looking after existing commercial insurance customers including renewals and MTAs, supporting the wider team with managing relationships with key partners, working with new business to provide an excellent customer experience, providing insurance to clients and modelling effective protection through the provision of appropriate insurance products.

Qualifications

• At least one year’s general insurance experience, preferably with experience in new business or account handling within the insurance industry.
• Ideally has used Acturis.
• Up to date knowledge of Financial Conduct Authority requirements including Treating Customers Fairly, and a thorough understanding of the UK insurance market.
• Must be able to commute to Cheltenham at least three days a week.
