Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with Interest in Endometriosis
This is a full time Obstetrics and Gynaecology Consultant non-resident post with Endometriosis Special Interest. There are 10 Programmed activities: 8.5 direct clinical care and 1.5 supporting professional activities. Current on-call commitments for both Obstetrics & Gynaecology are on a 1:12 basis.

Main duties of the job
The post will be covering obstetrics and gynaecology within a large maternity unit and established BSGE Endometriosis Centre, including out-patient clinics, inpatients, operating lists and consultant on-call cover. The post holder will also have a key role in the endometriosis service including participating in the endometriosis MDT, outpatient clinics and theatres.

Qualifications
- Full registration and a licence to practice with the GMC
- On the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT from the date of interview
- MRCOG
- RCOG recognised advanced laparoscopy training modules (advanced laparoscopy for excision of benign disease ATSM or SITM: endometriosis care) or Equivalent post graduate university degrees (eg. MSc in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy) or demonstrable equivalent training and experience
- Competent in managing complex Gynaecological cases including open and MAS approaches.
- Up to date knowledge and experience of relevant speciality (Endometriosis)
Research
- Evidence of audit/research and the implementation of change following the audit
