Role: Litigation Solicitor · Rotherham, South Yorkshire · Full time, permanent · £30,000 – £45,000

CRA Consulting is pleased to partner with a long-established and highly regarded South Yorkshire law firm in recruiting an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join its expanding Dispute Resolution department. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor looking to further their career within a respected practice that combines high-quality work with a supportive and collaborative culture. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of contentious matters while benefiting from the support of an experienced and well-established litigation team.

The Role

Joining a busy and growing department, you will be responsible for handling a varied caseload of disputes on behalf of both private individuals and commercial clients. The role offers a broad mix of work, providing exposure to a wide range of litigation matters and the opportunity to develop specialist expertise where desired. Your caseload is likely to include:

  • Commercial and contractual disputes
  • Property litigation and landlord & tenant matters
  • Debt recovery and enforcement proceedings
  • Contentious probate disputes
  • Partnership and shareholder disagreements
  • Business and commercial disputes
  • General civil litigation matters

The successful candidate will enjoy a high level of autonomy in managing their own files while also having the opportunity to work alongside senior colleagues on more complex and high-value disputes.

About You

Applications are welcomed from solicitors who can demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ PQE within Litigation or Dispute Resolution.
  • Proven experience managing a varied caseload independently from instruction through to resolution.
  • Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of contentious matters.
  • Excellent client care and relationship management skills.
  • The ability to provide commercially focused and pragmatic advice.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and advocacy skills.
  • A proactive approach to business development and networking.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
