Head of Risk UK

Description

• Own the UK risk framework, ensuring regulatory alignment and current controls
• Manage outsourced risk services and define UK requirements vs Group delivery
• Lead ICARA, stress testing, and regulatory submissions for UK
• Deliver risk MI to UK Board/ExCo with trends, near breaches and actions
• Develop KRIs and risk reporting for UK governance and regulators
• Oversee risk governance and FCA engagement for risk matters

Requirements

• 8+ years risk management experience in FCA‑regulated financial services (CFD/spread betting)
• Deep knowledge of FCA risk rules: SYSC, PRIN, Consumer Duty, MIFIDPRU
• Experience managing outsourced or shared risk functions and SLAs
• Experience designing enterprise risk frameworks: risk registers, KRIs, ICARA/ICAAP
• Strong grasp of market, credit, liquidity risks and conduct risk for retail trading
• Experience preparing risk MI for boards and engaging with the FCA
