With increasing brand awareness and growing customer demand, the focus is now shifting towards building a more sophisticated and scalable performance marketing function. The business sees a significant opportunity to enhance customer acquisition, improve marketing efficiency, and unlock greater value across the customer lifecycle through a more structured, data-driven approach to growth.
To support this next phase, the company is looking to appoint a Head of Performance Marketing who will take ownership of acquisition strategy, media investment, experimentation, and channel performance. Working closely with founders and senior leadership, this individual will play a key role in shaping the future growth trajectory of the business and building the foundations for long-term commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the overall performance marketing strategy across customer acquisition channels
- Lead paid media activity across Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms, with a focus on efficient customer acquisition and scalable growth
- Develop and execute a structured testing roadmap across creative, audience targeting, landing pages, offers, and conversion funnels
- Build performance frameworks that improve channel efficiency, conversion rates, and return on marketing investment
- Partner closely with CRM and retention teams to maximise customer lifetime value and improve repeat purchase behaviour
- Collaborate with creative and brand teams to develop high-performing campaigns that balance commercial outcomes with brand consistency
- Manage agency relationships and platform partners, ensuring accountability against performance objectives and growth targets
- Own reporting, forecasting, and budget allocation processes to support data-led decision making
- Identify new growth opportunities across channels, partnerships, referral programmes, and emerging acquisition strategies
- Work directly with founders and senior stakeholders to translate commercial priorities into actionable marketing plans
What the Client Would Like to See
- Proven experience in senior Performance Marketing, Growth Marketing, or Digital Acquisition leadership roles
- Strong hands-on expertise across paid social, paid search, attribution, and marketing analytics
- Experience scaling customer acquisition programmes within eCommerce, consumer, retail, FMCG, or other high-growth environments
- Deep understanding of performance metrics including CAC, ROAS, MER, LTV, payback periods, and contribution margin
- Demonstrable success building testing frameworks across media buying, creative strategy, and conversion optimisation
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth ambitions against profitability objectives
- Experience managing agencies, budgets, and cross-functional stakeholder groups
