Role Overview
As Head of Menswear Product, you will lead the product direction across the brand, owning development from concept through to production. This is a highly commercial role focused on improving fit and product quality, identifying scalable product opportunities, and creating ranges that customers genuinely want to buy repeatedly.
You’ll work closely with leadership, creative and growth teams, helping shape the future direction of the brand through product.
The role requires someone who combines strong product instinct, deep understanding of menswear construction, and the ability to execute quickly inside a scaling DTC environment.
Main Responsibilities
Design & Product Creation
- Bring creative input into the menswear range, supporting product ideas from concept through to launch
- Work closely with the Founders and Product team to shape design direction across core and seasonal collections
- Support product concepting, bringing newness, taste level and a clear menswear point of view into the range
- Input into fabric, fit, colour, detail, silhouette, trims and finish
- Identify gaps in the current product range and opportunities for improvement or category expansion
- Translate customer insight, product performance and market trends into future product decisions
- Help build collections that balance creativity, commerciality and scalability for the Legend customer
Product Development & Direction
- Lead the development of commercially scalable menswear products
- Identify opportunities for new hero products and category expansion
- Continuously improve and evolve existing bestsellers
- Ensure all products align with the Legend customer and wider brand positioning
Fit, Fabric & Product Quality
- Own fit development and product consistency across the range
- Lead fittings, product reviews and wear testing
- Select fabrics balancing quality, comfort, durability and commerciality
- Drive improvements across construction, finish and overall product experience
- Maintain high standards across all stages of development and production
- Analyse product performance and customer behaviour
- Understand what drives conversion, retention and repeat purchase
- Work closely with Growth and Ecommerce teams to align product with customer demand
- Support margin optimisation without compromising product quality or brand perception
- Help shape product decisions using both customer insight and commercial performance
- Manage relationships with suppliers and factories
- Oversee sampling, revisions and approvals
- Support sourcing and production decisions
- Ensure timelines, quality and commercial objectives are delivered effectively
- Work closely with production partners to improve consistency and scalability
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Creative, Growth and Ecommerce teams
- Ensure product works effectively across ecommerce and paid media environments
- Support campaign launches and key trading periods
- Bring product insight into wider commercial and brand discussions
- Highly commercial mindset

Required Skills & Experience
Experience within fashion, apparel or DTC consumer brands.
Deep understanding of:

- Experience managing suppliers and development processes
- Comfortable operating cross‑functionally within scaling businesses
