Senior AI Engineer | Agentic AI / Machine Learning | UK | Contract
Conquer AI is hiring Senior AI Engineers.
We’re looking for hands‑on engineers who can build practical AI systems that solve real operational problems for enterprise clients. This is an Outside IR35 contract working on greenfield AI projects for enterprise clients.
This is not a pure ML research role. It’s applied, product‑minded, and delivery‑focused. You’ll work on systems that extract information, reason over documents, automate workflows, connect into business tools, support decision‑making, and reduce manual effort for client teams.
You’ll be close to clients, close to the problem, and close to the code.
What you’ll work on:
- Agentic AI workflows
- LLM‑powered applications
- RAG and knowledge systems
- Document extraction and classification
- Workflow automation
- API and system integrations
- Client‑facing prototypes and production builds
What you’ll do:
- Build AI systems using Python, Node.js, TypeScript, LLMs, and modern AI tooling
- Work with senior engineers and architects to design end‑to‑end solutions
- Join client sessions to understand workflows and technical requirements
- Help turn messy business processes into clear AI‑enabled systems
- Build reliable, explainable, and secure AI applications
- Move quickly from concept to working product
- Strong software engineering experience
- Hands‑on experience with AI, LLMs, RAG, agents, ML systems, or automation
- Experience with APIs, data, integrations, and production systems
- Clear communication and client‑facing confidence
- A bias for action and ownership
