Slingshot AI is the team behind Ash, the first AI designed for mental health. Our mission is to make support more accessible and help people change their lives in the ways they want.

The Role

We’re looking for early‑career engineers with strong building skills. As a member of our platform team, you will build tooling that enables our internal team and collaborators to build a foundation model for psychology and support Slingshot as an AI‑native company.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain platform tooling (e.g., devboxes, internal tooling dashboards).
• Enable the trust and safety team with required systems.
• Collaborate with leadership to design and implement company‑wide systems.
• Ship features to real users early and iterate.

Qualifications

• One or two years of professional software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated product or project that real users have used (side projects, open‑source, or commercial).
• Evidence of strong engineering ability (e.g., hackathon wins, high test scores, competition results).
• Passionate about coding, with a portfolio of repos, demos, or shipped work.
