About The Role
We are seeking to appoint a Head of KS5 Maths to support our well-established maths department from 1 September 2026. You will strategically lead KS5, planning and delivering our maths mastery programme at KS3/4, ensuring all students achieve results in line with value-added predictions through appropriate schemes of work, effective assessment tracking and intervention.
We follow the Ark Mastery maths curriculum, with some modification and are aligned to the Ark assessment programme at KS5.

The successful candidate will:
- be an outstanding teacher with a proven track record of securing excellent outcomes.
- have up-to-date knowledge of subject curricula and assessment requirements.
- monitor the identification of and provision for students with individual needs and develop different learning and teaching methods and schemes of learning.
- possess effective and systematic behaviour management, with clear boundaries, sanctions, praise and rewards.
- have a passion and a belief in the potential of every student.
- have experience working in partnership with other staff in a school setting to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students are always prioritised.
