Role Overview
Senior Marketing Manager – HPC Preservation. Support the global marketing strategy for Personal Care and Home Care Preservation within Arxada’s Microbial Control Solutions business, and lead the creation and implementation of marketing communication and lead‑generation plans to drive pipeline, share, and margin across regions.
Essential Job Functions
- Strategy Execution & Portfolio Deployment – Develop and manage the global marketing strategy for HPC Preservation, including Personal Care Preservation, Emulsifiers, and Home Care Preservation. Drive market expansion, product positioning, and value‑based selling initiatives through close collaboration with Sales, Technical Sales, R&D, Regulatory, and Distribution partners. Shape global value propositions, positioning, and messaging frameworks that differentiate Arxada’s portfolio. Translate market trends, competitive intelligence, regulatory developments, and customer insights into region‑specific marketing assets and collateral. Lead growth initiatives such as go‑to‑market strategy and support the global innovation and NPD pipeline from concept through commercialization and launch.
- Marketing Communication & Lead Generation – Create and implement the global marketing communication plan across digital content, webinars, trade shows, and PR to deliver consistent messaging. Design, run, and optimize lead‑generation programs and campaigns that generate measurable demand and qualified pipeline through print, digital, social media, and email channels. Manage the marketing calendar, budget, agencies, and channel mix; govern global brand and content architecture. Build and maintain the sales enablement toolkit: value‑based selling tools, pricing narratives, segmentation playbooks, and sales‑force training frameworks. Define and track marketing KPIs (MQLs, lead‑to‑pipeline conversion, campaign ROI, share of voice) and iterate tactics based on performance data. Train sales and distributor organizations, including customer visits.
- Cross‑Functional & Regional Leadership – Partner cross‑functionally with R&D, TS&D, Regulatory, Product Management, and Sales to align strategy, prioritization, and execution. Enable regional sales teams to localize and activate global programs effectively and at speed. Support the regional EMEA strategy while contributing to the overall global business strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Marketing, Product Management, or Commercial roles, covering both strategic planning and hands‑on tactical execution.
- Solution‑driven mindset with a bias for turning customer pain points and market challenges into differentiated, value‑creating solutions.
- Demonstrated global / multi‑region marketing experience, including running campaigns and enabling sales across diverse geographies (EMEA experience strongly preferred).
- Proven experience in Home Care, Personal Care, Preservation and/or Ingredients markets.
- Strong track record in marketing communications, demand and lead generation, and value‑based marketing, supporting portfolio strategy and innovation.
- Commercial fluency, confidence in growth, margin, pricing, ROI, and marketing‑performance discussions.
- Demonstrated executive presence and ability to influence and lead without direct authority across cultures and functions.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Background in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 30% travel.
