Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum, plus company benefits.

Location: London E14.

Contract: Permanent, full time.

Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri 9am–5:30pm, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch.

Work model: Hybrid; on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Purpose of the Role

The Senior Creative Project Manager leads the day-to-day delivery and operational performance of the Creative Project Management function. Responsible for managing a team of Project Managers, ensuring consistent delivery standards, resource optimisation, and high-quality client outcomes. The role acts as a key link between Account Management, Creative Leads, and senior stakeholders, driving continuous improvement, team development and process excellence across all projects.

Overall Aim of the Role

The Creative Project Manager will work collaboratively alongside the client, members of the Creative Team, Creative Account Manager and Management Team to drive quality and creativity. They help inspire and innovate the creative service offered to the client, providing direction and guidance to the other members of the team(s) to help achieve these aims.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Line management of Creative Project Managers, conduct regular 1-2-1s, development plans, and performance reviews.
  • Coach and mentor PMs to improve delivery quality and confidence, manage workloads and wellbeing across the PM team.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture and act as escalation point for project and resourcing issues.
  • Work closely alongside the Creative Account Manager and Creative PM(s) to ensure all processes and procedures are in place to ensure the smooth running of the department.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all larger project-based creative work that enters the studio. Prioritise and organise projects, working alongside the Team Leaders, to ensure that client deadlines and expectations are met and maintained.
  • Attend client briefs, and produce estimates and proposals. Scheduling all elements of the production, including preparation, production and editing with budget estimates to support the clients’ interests.
  • Analyse project briefs once accepted by workflow; provide feasibility feedback, budgets and timelines for creative concepts as needed.
  • Provide cost estimates and timelines for all deliveries, highlighting risks and dependencies in meetings and agreeing deadlines.
  • Manage project timelines; attend face-to-face briefings with clients offsite, and assist with hosting clients who attend offices in person to oversee the execution of briefs.
  • Involve subject matter experts within the team to advise on delivery quality and communicate project risks.
  • Collaborate with team members in the development of creative concepts and implement a production plan that meets client objectives on time and within budget.
  • Provide feasibility feedback, budgets and timelines for creative concepts as needed.
  • Coordinate project deliverables, briefing and guide the team on potential risks; assist with project communication and document issues and changes that affect the project.
  • Coordinate production calendar with team lead to ensure projects can be delivered on time and with sufficient resources.
  • Assist with workflow to cover holidays; maintain an up-to-date internal status sheet of all live briefs and work in production using Monday.com.
  • Where required, ensure on behalf of the client via business affairs that usage rights are secured as per brief, advising clients when usage rights are due to expire.
  • Ensure all output meets client requirements, has been through QC and is approved before release to the client.
  • Develop status reports and work with stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Attend campaign wash-up meetings with clients to identify future learnings to be applied to the following campaigns and build further relationships with clients.
  • Develop, maintain and extend client relationships; manage client expectations in relation to project objectives, timelines and budgets.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients and gain a strong understanding of their business.
