Location: Peripatetic role, across the markets locations
Grade: Level 8
Salary: £33,699 – £36,363 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week, working Monday to Saturday
About the Role
The Markets Team is a small team of 15, who work closely to deliver the Market Offer at 4 indoor locations and 3 outdoor locations across the city.
This advert is open to both internal and external applicants.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Health and Safety of the market halls in line with legislation
- Manage the legal compliance around the Charter and licensing requirements of traders
- Assist with budget management across the markets estate
- Manage the occupancy rates in line with SOTCC targets
- Ensure delivery of market standards
About You
- Must have knowledge of Food Safety Legislation
- Must have knowledge of Health and Safety with the ability to evidence this at management level
- Must have experience of completing Risk Assessments
- Must have experience of managing performance against budgets
- Must have experience of leading a team
- A retail background would be advantageous
