As a Project Lead in the 3PL industry, you will oversee and deliver key logistics projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and align with business goals.

Description

  • Lead and manage logistics projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve efficiency within the logistics department.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise impact.
  • Monitor and report project progress to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Coordinate resource allocation and manage project-related communication effectively.
  • Analyse data and generate actionable insights to inform decision‑making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the transport & distribution sector.

Profile

  • Proven experience managing projects within the logistics or transport & distribution industry.
  • Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills to handle complex project requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of logistics processes and industry regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • A commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes under deadlines.

Job Offer

9 month fixed term contract, circa £90,000 + car allowance (pro rata).
