Location: Farnborough, ENG, GB (Chester House)

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the collection, preparation and management of relevant data and image sets.
• Modify and extend scripts and programs that automate the tasks and visualise the results.
• Assist in the training and evaluation of machine learning algorithms under the supervision of other team members.
• Record all changes and document both software and research outputs.
• Work at all times in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and the company’s policies.
• Undertake any other duties within the general scope of the job as required.

Requirements

• Student undertaking a degree in a technical discipline.
• Proficient in general IT skills on both Windows and Linux systems.
• Experience with programming or scripting, particularly Python.
• Mathematics or statistical analysis training is beneficial but not essential.
• Problem‑solving skills to break down complex data challenges and find solutions.
• Communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest and excitement to learn in the subject.
