Software Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and maintain software for automated composite manufacturing systems and robotic lay‑up processes.
• Integrate software with sensors, machine vision, PLCs, and industrial hardware for real‑world production.
• Create simulation, modelling, and optimisation tools for complex composite structures and materials.
• Support R&D projects involving new resins, fibre‑placement technologies, and next‑generation materials.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver customer‑specific automation solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong programming proficiency in C++, Python, or C# within an engineering context.
• Proven experience in manufacturing systems, automation, robotics, or industrial software development.
• Foundational understanding of composite materials, lay‑up processes, or materials engineering.
• Familiarity with control systems, real‑time software, or embedded systems development.
• Legally authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
