Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of Delivery Managers, setting clear expectations and supporting their development.
- Own and oversee delivery across multiple workstreams and portfolios, ensuring alignment to business priorities and outcomes.
- Establish and embed standardised ways of working across delivery, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Provide oversight of delivery plans, progress, risks, and dependencies across the team.
- Identify and manage cross-portfolio risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring they are proactively mitigated.
- Act as the escalation point for complex delivery challenges and drive resolution.
- Engage with senior stakeholders across business and technology to ensure alignment and confidence in delivery.
- Ensure strong collaboration across cross-functional teams including engineering, product, QA, and operations.
- Oversee vendor and third-party delivery performance and relationships.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices, tooling, and reporting.
- Ensure solutions meet technical, security, governance, and compliance standards.
- Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Delivery or Project Management within complex technology environments.
- Proven experience leading and developing delivery teams.
- Ability to oversee multiple workstreams while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leaders.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with delivery tools such as Jira and MS Project.
- Experience managing vendors and third-party suppliers.
- A continuous improvement mindset and focus on driving better ways of working.
