Platform Architect

A research focused technology organisation operating large scale on premise and hybrid infrastructure is looking for a senior Platform Architect to help shape technology decisions across infrastructure, security, enterprise platforms, networking and corporate technology.

The team operates across a broad technology landscape, supporting everything from data centre infrastructure and security architecture through to enterprise platforms, end user technology and emerging AI initiatives.

We’re looking for someone with broad technical experience, strong judgement, and the ability to provide clear architectural direction across a diverse technology landscape.

What you’ll need:

• Significant experience as a Platform Architect, Infrastructure Architect, Enterprise Architect or Principal Architect
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking and security fundamentals
• Experience operating in complex engineering environments rather than purely governance focused architecture functions
• Ability to operate across multiple technical domains, combining broad architectural understanding with deeper expertise in at least one area
• Strong judgement and the confidence to make architectural decisions independently
• Quantitative trading firms
• Hedge funds
• FinTech
• Large scale technology organisations
• Enterprise environments operating significant infrastructure estates or data centres
