We have an exciting opportunity for you – ServiceNow Business / Functional Analyst!
The Role
As a ServiceNow Business / Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing business requirements and translating them into effective ServiceNow solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to support configuration, governance, and data management activities while ensuring alignment with ITIL processes and enterprise standards.
Your responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements for ServiceNow solutions.
- Manage and support ServiceNow operations, including incidents, service requests, and change requests.
- Monitor data quality and resolve identified issues to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Support and design governance processes, including user access, roles, and approval workflows.
- Maintain and manage data governance practices within the ServiceNow platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders through regular interactions to understand and address business needs.
- Ensure alignment with ITIL processes, including incident, service request, and change management.
- Support configuration and optimisation of ServiceNow data models and workflows.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Strong relevant work experience in ServiceNow or ITSM environments.
- Experience working as a ServiceNow Administrator or in a similar functional role.
- Strong understanding of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Understanding of Configuration Items and their relationships within ServiceNow.
- Good knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and technical workflows.
- Strong understanding of ITIL and ITSM processes.
- Basic knowledge of PL/SQL.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with customers and stakeholders.
- Experience in banking or financial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced project environments.
