We are growing our Private Medical Insurance department (PMI) and looking to recruit an ambitious and experienced Insurance Account Executive for Private Medical Insurance to join Alan Boswell Insurance Brokers Ltd team in Norwich.

The role
As a sales adviser you will:
- Effectively manage a portfolio of existing clients and convert sales enquiries for new business leads
- Provide independent advice to clients for private medical insurance
- Generate prospects and achieve a range of business targets
- General administration of new and existing healthcare business, during and post sale, with support from the central administration team
We have a large book of clients to deal with so there is no need to source or bring clients with you.
You will need a proactive approach in managing and engaging with our clients and prospects, combined with detailed technical knowledge and understanding of products provided by our Healthcare Team.
A professional written, telephone manner and customer service skills are paramount.
It is desirable that you have worked in an insurance field and that you wish to aspire in a sales environment. Product training can be provided.
Requirements
- Understanding of a range of products within the healthcare arena
- Willingness to learn
- Computer skills – competence with using various software
- Developing and maintaining technical knowledge and qualifications
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Flexibility and ability to work in a pressurised sales environment
Qualifications & experience
- Experience of working in a similar customer service/sales environment in financial services
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar environment (desirable)
- Corporate Legal Liability Insurance

Training period
During your training period, we expect you to work in the office to gain hands‑on experience and connect with your team. After this, we can adapt to both business and personal needs.
Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm
