Consultant Psychologist (Clinical/Counselling) – CYPS Professional Lead for Psychology

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SABP) is seeking a highly experienced Practitioner Psychologist to undertake the role of Consultant Psychologist to provide strategic, clinical and professional leadership across our Child and Young People’s Services (CYPS).

Based at the Trust Headquarters in Leatherhead with travel across Surrey required. The role involves working with children and young people with complex mental health needs and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, service leads and the Associate Director of Therapies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously review the strategy for the delivery of a full range of psychological services and the development of psychological mindedness across CYPS.
• Lead and/or contribute to service improvements, change programmes and business developments as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues, service leads and the Associate Director of Therapies to develop and continuously review the strategy for the delivery of psychological services.
• Deliver clinical work with children and young people with complex mental health needs.
