NHB Recruitment is looking for an experienced, ambitious Permanent Recruitment Consultant to help build and grow our part-qualified and newly qualified finance recruitment offering. This is a genuine growth opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants real ownership—not just a seat at a desk.
Working pattern: Hybrid working, with flexibility to split your time between the office and home.
The Role
You’ll play a key part in growing our permanent recruitment business across part-qualified and newly qualified finance appointments, developing both the client base and candidate network. You’ll have the autonomy to shape your desk, drive business development, and build long‑term client and candidate relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing permanent recruitment assignments from initial brief through to successful placement
- Sourcing, screening and interviewing high‑calibre part-qualified and newly qualified finance professionals
- Building and maintaining a strong network of finance candidates across the PQ and NQ market
- Developing new business opportunities and strengthening existing client relationships
- Advising clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process, including offer management and negotiation
- Maintaining a consistent business development strategy to generate new opportunities
- Mapping markets and identifying talent pipelines within your specialist area
- Contributing ideas and initiatives to support the continued growth of the business
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in permanent recruitment (finance recruitment would be advantageous)
- A strong billing track record and evidence of consistent success
- Commercially minded with a genuine desire to grow and develop a successful desk
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
- Self‑motivated, organised and comfortable working in a hybrid environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to make a real impact in a growing business
