Job Overview
Full‑time, permanent 8A position for a clinical/counselling psychologist to work within the Adult Mental Health Psychology service. The role involves offering high‑quality psychological assessments, formulations and evidence‑based interventions to adults aged 18‑65.
Responsibilities
- Deliver psychological assessments and formulations for referred adults within the service.
- Provide individual and systemic evidence‑based interventions.
- Conduct therapy, consultation and training for staff.
- Engage in service development, planning and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise trainees and participate in CPD activities.
Qualifications
Clinical psychologist with appropriate UK registration and a clear 8A. Experience in adult mental health and evidence‑based practice is essential. Knowledge of safeguarding, public protection and the PVG scheme is required.
