Responsibilities
- Lead the adoption and execution of Agile and DevOps practices to enhance team collaboration and ensure continuous delivery of high‑quality digital services.
- Architect, deploy and oversee multi‑cloud environments across Azure and GCP, focusing on scalable, secure and resilient infrastructure.
- Serve as key point of contact between the infrastructure team and other departments, promoting alignment and smooth integration across workstreams.
- Build influential relationships with internal and external users, suppliers and partners at senior management level.
- Coach, mentor, line‑manage and create a positive working environment that embeds equality and diversity, and motivates staff to achieve good outcomes.
- Explain complex ideas clearly to a wide range of audiences and support strong communication both within and from the team.
- Run recruitment and contribute to building diverse teams and communities, with focus on supporting under‑represented groups.
- Advise on best value from digital data and technology partnerships and drive continuous improvement.
