Position: HVAC EngineerLocation: South CoastSalary: £40,000 – £43,000 DOE

Job Overview

HVAC Engineer required on the South Coast for our client, a leading HVAC company that has six regional offices and has been expanding since it was formed over twenty years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment. Their client base includes long‑standing relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary up to £43,000 DOE
• Company Van – Optional personal use of the vehicle
• Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months’ service – up to £3,600 tax‑free
• Overtime paid at 1.5× for a 40‑hour working week; travel paid after 30 minutes each way
• On‑call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed – travel paid door to door if called out)

• 22 days’ holidays plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years

Job Requirements

• Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (Not essential)
• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F‑Gas)
• Full Driving Licence
• Experienced with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair
• Live in the Southampton/Portsmouth area
