Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience

Position Overview

Assist with preventative maintenance and breakdowns on electrical matters in a well-established manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned preventative and reactive maintenance duties in a timely manner ensuring operational downtime is kept to a minimum.
• Identify solutions that will improve system efficiency and reduce costs with existing equipment while being involved in developing and commissioning new equipment.
• Ensure that all equipment is maintained to a high standard of housekeeping and health and safety at all times.
• Work alongside on‑site contractors.

Requirements

• Proven experience with an electrical maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• City & Guilds 18th edition qualified or equivalent.
• Good attention to detail.
• Experience of PLC systems desirable.
• Based in a commutable distance of Stoke on Trent.
• Willingness to be part of a call‑out rota.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30.
• Permanent position.
• 33 days holiday, including bank holidays.
