Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Industrial Door Engineer, based in Colchester. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of industrial doors, including roller shutters, sectional doors, and speed doors. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, ensuring strict adherence to safety and compliance regulations, and collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality service. The Industrial Door Engineer will also conduct routine inspections and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and functionality.
Qualifications
- Effective Communication skills with the ability to collaborate with team members and clients
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in the industrial door sector
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial and automated door systems
- Installation and repairs of all types of industrial doors
- Relevant certifications or training in industrial and mechanical engineering is advantageous
- Ability to work independently and address challenges proactively
- PASMA and IPAF ideal but can be provided
